About the boat
A 1962 steel ketch, the largest built in Scotland in many years, launched by the Yarrow & Co. yard in Glasgow to a design by W. MacPherson Campbell. In 1962 Lloyd's Register gave her its trophy for the best design and build of the year against eighty-six other yachts, and she still sails under the same ketch rig with nine hundred square metres of sail. She is thirty-three metres of teak, mahogany and brass: five suites, a saloon and dining room on both decks, and a long open deck with room for a big table and a good crowd. She sails from the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona for two- to four-hour events — weddings, celebrations, company gatherings — with the city and the Catalan coast behind her.
How does it work?
Charters run as a 8-hour day, boarding between 10:00 and 13:00 and coming back in between 18:00 and 21:00. Extra hours are possible on request and subject to confirmation with the crew. Skipper and crew are included, and the route is agreed with you on the day based on the forecast.
