About the boat
A 1958 rescue boat from the vessel Medina, restored and adapted to carry passengers. Aluminium hull lined with wood inside, six metres seventy long. For ten unbroken years she ran river trips through the Sil canyon, in the Ribeira Sacra. She is on the Spanish Maritime Register, Vigo district, list 6 since 2013, and although as a rescue boat she was rated for twenty-six, she sails with the twelve authorised by the Miño-Sil water authority. She has been on the pontoon for over two years and needs recommissioning and paint, but her condition is good. Her period look is exactly what makes her worth having: she suits rivers, reservoirs and inland water, where a boat this size is an advantage.
How does it work?
Charters run as a 8-hour day, boarding between 10:00 and 13:00 and coming back in between 18:00 and 21:00. Extra hours are possible on request and subject to confirmation with the crew. Skipper and crew are included, and the route is agreed with you on the day based on the forecast.
