About the boat
A thirty-two-metre classic yacht built in 1962 by Yarrow & Co. in Scotland, to the order of the British royal family. She was the largest steel auxiliary ketch built there for many years and won Lloyd's Register's "Yacht of the Year" trophy for the best design and construction of 1962. Three decks, six double cabins with ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning and audio/video, two dining saloons for fourteen and ten guests, a large sitting room, an outside saloon with bar access, a sun deck with jacuzzi, and an industrial galley for catering. Steel hull, aluminium superstructure and 70 mm teak decks. She is registered as a commercial passenger vessel on the Canary Islands Special Registry, Group 1 Class H, licensed for up to sixty-five passengers plus five crew on coastal day trips, and up to eighty guests alongside. Over the winter of 2018-2019 she had a major refit: hull plating, fuel and water tank repairs, a complete deck repair with all the caulking replaced and teak planks changed where needed. Currently based at the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona, working as an events and charter boat. €972,000 plus VAT.
